  Not sure what bird you found there - doesn't look like an eagle. Red Shouldered Hawk? Anyone know? We can run it by the bird Experts 😃

  Appears to be a red tailed hawk but the perspective is so odd, making the raptor look small, or the poppies ginormous!

  I'm no birder but these birds look very small for a typical red tail hawk with wingspans of approx 50". What about sparrow hawk or merlin?
