Hi, are we meant to be keeping track of condors on scales? I've noted some '#scales'.. couldn't read the ones I've seen. Thanks.

Hi Penny!
I answered this last night to you in some of the comment photos and on the boards but now can't find it, so I will here again 😃
The info on marking any and all things is on the F.A.c.Q. page here but as far as the scales specifically:
We only hash tag a scale (which would then be #scale ) IF:
1} There is a condor on it and you can see their tag clearly (number and color)
2} If you can read the weight
This is so that data can be entered on the comment area of TALK and a health check can be done for that condor.
The format would then be: #scale TagColor and Number Weight (example: #scale White51 - 20 pounds)If the scale is unreadable due to light or bad photo, or if the tag isn't readable or visible then do not hash tag it #scale. . In these cases pretend the scale isn't there and just mark the condor's distance from the carcass.
Hope this helps!
