Lets celebrate condors!

It is always great when working with an endangered species to celebrate the good news so I wanted to share two milestones reached by the California condors in the past few months:
-
In 2015, more condors hatched and fledged in the wild than adult wild condors died. This is the first time this has happened in decades. Full story: http://apne.ws/1Sdg6CL
-
and from 'The Condor Cave': "Happy 10th Anniversary to Big Sur's first condor pair! Male #167 and female #190 have made eight nesting attempts and successfully fledged four chicks in the same coastal redwood tree since 2006."
