Pieces of carcasses?

  Should we be marking pieces of carcass separately or just one mark for a carcass even if it's been torn apart?

  now I have been not marking carcass when there is just that in the field, no birds, should I still be marking it?

  Yes, it would be helpful if you do mark that there is a carcass present as then we can also calculate the amount of time there is no one foraging on the free carcass buffet so to speak and differentiate these photos from ones where the carcass has been eaten (so isn't visible).
