Live Cam - watch Red 90 & Red 67s baby in nest :)

You know her - you love her - it's our gal Red 90 who has had a girl with mate Red 67 (AKA Black67 1-dot)

This is the first time live, streaming video, of a condor nest in the wild has been made available to the public. It's so amazing and what a great picture! (as this is being posted, one of the parents just flew into the nest. What a magnificent coat the baby has, complete with boa.)

The chick is a female and was 4 months old in mid-August in the cavity of a hollow tree. She's expected to "fledge" or leave the nest to learn to fly, in October. It's incredible how tender and caring these birds are, and what a change when we are so used to seeing them eat dead cows here on the site? Go look! Now!!! The chick has already been tagged Green99 and is hopping around and stretching her wings wide, spinning around like a whirling dervish and jumping up the side of the nest walls - building up those leg and wing muscles for when it can go out into the World.

You can help name the chick if you'd like to donate at least $25 and enter up to three name suggestions.
