Carcasses

What is the thinking behind multiple carcasses at each location? Maximum olfactory assault possibly or to provide a larger buffet spread so more diners get a look-in. Are they removed again when eaten out?

I would say the latter - larger buffet spread so more diners can get a look-in. Yes, the carcasses are replaced at a regular basis - but is limited by how often the field crews can get out to replace them, etc.

Are the carcasses delivered at regular times? In some of the images it looks like the birds are waiting for a delivery. I've worked with enough domestic animals to know they are excellent timekeepers and these birds appear to have the same characteristics.

It depends, I know the field crews try to keep a schedule for what days they replenish the feeding stations but, as with all field work, other things sometimes come up so that might leave some impatient condors waiting their buffet to be refilled.
