Keyboard shortcuts and macros
-
Thought I'd share this in case other people out there are getting bored of clicking:
- Numbers 1-7 on keyboard (not on number pad) = select different animals (condor = 1, turkey vulture = 2, etc.)
- Enter = clicking "Next"
- For Raven, Carcass & Something Else, clicking 'Next/Done' isn't really necessary, only useful to make the zoom disappear;
- For other animals, once chosen: (1) space-bar selects "within reach", (2) up/down arrow keys select the other options;
- In Condor, tab will move you to the other options and the spacebar will select the option you want. This is not terribly useful except to record a macro.
- Space bar = clicking "Done"
Thanks to this:
- Ravens can be marked quickly - click/4/click/4... especially if
ravens are spread across the image so that there's always one you can
mark that's not behind the zoom; - You can record a macro (many macro softwares available for free) for example to select black/underline/juvenile, and attribute it to a
function key. - With as end result, every time you see a
black/underline/juvenile on a carcass, you click on it, type 1-enter-spacebar-tab, type in the number, then (in my case) F8
and you're done.
