Are Dots and Underlined related to wing tags?

Hello,
When identifying a condor, the page allows for entry of a number of dots and has a check box for "underlined". Does these have something to do with extra markings on wing tags? I can't say I have seen dots or underlines on tags yet and I could find no specific info describing how to fill in these data types.

Yes, there are some wing tags with dots and underlines. We are working on putting up a field guide to the tags the help clarify this issue.
